We’re excited to announce a collaboration between the Association of Somali Engineers (ASE) and Somalis in Project
Management (SPM) for an upcoming community hike along the iconic Seven Sisters Cliffs.

This event is all about bringing professionals together outside of the usual setting — creating space to connect, build relationships and strengthen our growing network in a more relaxed and engaging environment.

Whether you’re in engineering, project management or simply looking to meet like-minded individuals, this is a great opportunity to step away from the desk and connect with the community.

📅 Saturday 16th May 2026

📍 Seven Sisters Cliff (Seaford Station to Birling Gap)

We look forward to seeing you there

Hearing directly from our attendees — ASE Nairobi 🇰🇪

Following our recent networking event in Nairobi, we’re proud to share feedback from those who joined us on the day.

Bringing together Somali engineers, students and professionals, the event created a space for meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing and real opportunities.

The feedback speaks for itself — highlighting the value of connection, community and creating platforms where people can grow both personally and professionally.

At ASE, our goal is simple: to build spaces where conversations lead to opportunities.

Thank you again to everyone who attended and contributed to making the event a success. And a huge appreciation for for organising this event. We look forward to continuing this journey across more cities.

We brought the Somali engineering community together and one attendee walked away with a job interview secured. That’s the power of networking. That’s the power of community.
