🏌️‍♀️⛳️ What a day! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our charity golf day such a success. We are absolutely delighted to have raised over £7,500 for Cancer Research UK! 🎗️

A massive thank you to all the golfers who come back and support us year after year, and to everyone who joined us for the first time this year. Your generosity, enthusiasm and support mean so much and we couldn’t do it without you.

A huge thank you also to all the companies who sponsored holes and donated prizes for the raffle. Your generosity made such a difference and helped us raise an incredible amount for a very important cause.

But most importantly, a very special thank you to Ray Cruttenden, for so generously allowing us to have The Lottbridge Golf Club free of charge. Without your support, we simply couldn’t put this day on — we are incredibly grateful. ❤️

And a massive thank you to Mike and the team The Fairway at Lottbridge Golf Club, who provided all of the food completely free of charge. Feeding a whole group of hungry golfers is no small task, and your generosity was amazing! 🍽️😂

Finally, thank you to everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets, helped organise the day, played, laughed and generally made it such a brilliant day.

So committee members Paul and Bradley may have done something rather silly, considering their joint terror of heights. They have signed up for an abseiling event to raise money for Cancer Research UK on Friday 2nd October at the Francis Crick Institute building in London. This is going to test their nerves to the absolute limit but as every penny raised goes directly toward life-saving cancer research, every bit of fear worth it.

As much as a sponsored fall ...... sorry "abseil" 😅 was top of their to-do lists this October, they are hoping to raise as much money as physically possible in return for their adrenaline and would be delighted if you would be willing to sponsor them.
