Your Unite in AXA reps recently travelled from across the UK for our Annual Conference in sunny Eastbourne!

⚖️ Shelley Phillips walked us through the Employment Rights Act 2025 and what the legal changes mean for our members
🏳️‍⚧️ Rev Mike Todd and Rowan Jenkins led a session on inclusion focusing on the experiences of our trans and non-binary colleagues
🪧 Vic Paulino inspired us with creative campaigning stories from the Unite Community front line
🗣️ Ben Graves and Michelle Smith challenged us to think about how we connect with members and keep the union growing
🤝 Scot Pascal and Michelle Johnson from Employee Relations joined us to discuss working together for the good of everyone at AXA

Unite in AXA reps will be issuing ballot papers to members to allow them to vote in the pay ballot on AXA’s new offer, that runs from today to 6th March. If you do not receive a ballot paper, please contact your local rep.

A company which has ended its policy of allowing workers to work from home is apparently still expecting workers to respond to work emails while you are actually at home.
