Easter Egg Sensory Basket
💙 Fill a basket with blue-dyed rice
🥚 Pop in pastel linking eggs, egg bean bags, and a few spoons
👶 Let little hands scoop, pour, and hide the eggs
✨ Great for fine motor skills, imaginative play, and hand-eye coordination

Set this up for my 13 month old and it kept him busy for so long 🤍 such a lovely mix of sensory play, fine motor and imagination all in one!

We had:
🥕 A little “carrot patch” using green shredded paper from
🐰 Wooden animals from
🐥 Chicks in a cosy nest from &m
🎭 Farm animal puppets from
📚 Plus his favourite Old MacDonald book to tie it all together

He loved:
✨ Scooping and moving the “grass”
✨ Posting and hiding the animals
✨ Making animal noises with the puppets
✨ Exploring textures and developing fine motor skills

Simple, budget-friendly and perfect for Easter play 🐣
