Neighbourhood Development Plan

Thank you to those who came to our drop in session on Sunday 7th June. We will be running more drop in sessions in due course.

Consultation
The key theme that runs through the entire Neighbourhood Development Plan process is community involvement and consultation. This is a community led document. The Residents Survey and Business Survey are still live until 30 June and can be found on our website here: https://eastpeckham-pc.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplan/

Housing Needs Survey
Next up is the Housing Needs Survey to help us understand what your thoughts and views are on housing, and what housing needs you or family members may have. The Housing Needs Survey is live from 6th July. We would be grateful if you would take the time to complete it. It is being delivered to all households in hard copy, and will also be available to complete online. It is being organised in conjunction with RACE (Rural and Community Housing Enabling) who are running the survey on behalf of the Parish Council.

Please do contact us if you have any questions about the Housing Needs Survey or would like any help completing it.

Upcoming Residents Consultation Meetings
The next Residents Consultation meetings are on Sunday 19th July at the Jubilee Hall. We will be running two sessions, at 10am and 1pm. We will have lots to report back to you on, and to ask you for your thoughts and feedback:
โ€ข Residents and Business Survey
โ€ข Local Green Spaces and Key Views
โ€ข Key topics and draft Vision and Objectives
โ€ข Next steps

Ahead of the Consultation Meeting on Sunday 19th July, do you have any suggestions for green spaces or views within the Parish that are important to you, and that you might like to see protected?

If so please get in touch with the Parish Office or email to [email protected] and we can review those as part of the initial work we are doing ahead of the Consultation Meeting in July.

Taking part in this process is a really important way that you can shape the future of our village, so we look forward to seeing lots of you there.

We are pleased to let you know that the website pages about the Local Development Committee and the Neighbourhood Development Plan have recently been refreshed. Please do take a look if you are able to:

Your voice helps shape the future of our community. Thank you for being involved.

If you have any questions or would like to meet face to face to discuss the Neighbourhood Development Plan, please contact the Parish Office.
