GREAT NEWS - A HUGE THANK YOU TO RODDAS

The fundraising for the Edwina Hannaford skatepark project in Looe continues to go from strength to strength. We have now raised over £123,000 thanks to donations from businesses, the community and events.

We would like to thank Roddas whose Charity Committee have kindly chosen to support the project with a donation.

Allison Jewell Charity Co-ordinator said “We are delighted that Roddas has been able to support such a worthwhile local project. Please do pass on our best wishes to everyone involved in the fundraising, and we wish you every success in reaching the remaining amount needed”

It makes a huge difference to the project when a trusted and well-known local business donates and supports our fundraising efforts in this way. It not only boosts the fund, but it also gives a boost to those working on the project.

The more businesses and local events that support the skatepark project, the more chance we have with some of the large external funders who are looking to see that the project has “local buy-in” and means something to the Community.

We are happy to work with anyone who either wants to donate through our Crowdfunder, directly to the project or wants to host or organise a community-based event.

We’re ending the term with a splash and raising money for a fantastic local cause — Looe Skate Park! 🛹
On the last day of term, students can bring in a few pounds and get the chance to soak your favourite member of staff! Whether it’s a teacher who has survived a busy half term, or someone you think deserves a refreshing cool down… this is your chance! £1 for two throws. Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting Looe Skate Park.
