We at Boundless Trust have wonderful volunteers! This time we are celebrating one of our longest serving volunteers Anita Piddington. Anita has been a regular driver for Looe Community Meals and we want to say a huge thank you for loving and serving so many people. We wish you well as you take things easy and have fun!

Barney and Sara are currently representing Grassroots Trust in Zambia who partner on a child sponsorship program. Boundless Trust Knit and Natter group created some beautiful hats for us to take out for the children. Even in Africa it can get cold at night! If you are interested to know how you can partner with Grassroots Trust by becoming a sponsor please see details on their website. https://grassroots.org.uk/zambia/

Another great charity we will be supporting this year is boundless_trust

The Boundless Trust in Looe is a youth and community charity dedicated to helping people of all ages reach their potential and live life without limits. Through The Haven community hub, the Trust provides a safe and welcoming space for young people, delivering youth clubs, holiday activities, community meals, and support for local families facing hardship.
The Trust are currently working with Looe Development Trust and others to provide a safe, inclusive space for skateboarding, BMX, scooter riding and other wheeled sports. The facility will be owned by the Town Council and managed by The Boundless Trust and local user groups, creating a lasting community asset for people of all ages.

"Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless."

GREAT NEWS - A HUGE THANK YOU TO RODDAS

The fundraising for the Edwina Hannaford skatepark project in Looe continues to go from strength to strength. We have now raised over £123,000 thanks to donations from businesses, the community and events.

We would like to thank Roddas whose Charity Committee have kindly chosen to support the project with a donation.

Allison Jewell Charity Co-ordinator said “We are delighted that Roddas has been able to support such a worthwhile local project. Please do pass on our best wishes to everyone involved in the fundraising, and we wish you every success in reaching the remaining amount needed”

It makes a huge difference to the project when a trusted and well-known local business donates and supports our fundraising efforts in this way. It not only boosts the fund, but it also gives a boost to those working on the project.

The more businesses and local events that support the skatepark project, the more chance we have with some of the large external funders who are looking to see that the project has “local buy-in” and means something to the Community.

We are happy to work with anyone who either wants to donate through our Crowdfunder, directly to the project or wants to host or organise a community-based event.

Please contact Kim Spencer [email protected] or 01503 240685 if you want to discuss your idea.
