Feline Care Cat Rescue Please visit our website to donate and follow us for regular updates from the FC family, thank you :) Thank you for your support.

Feline Care is home to over 150 at any time, many of which are looking for new homes, some of which will spend the rest of their days living in peaceful sanctuary. When we set up our page in 2011 our parent charity was closing us down unless we could raise the £70,000 needed to buy our premises, in Norfolk, UK. For a small rescue it seemed an impossible task but after 14 hard weeks we mad

e it, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of the general public. Since then we have gone on to help many hundreds of cats find better and safer lives and we look forward to doing so until our feline friends no longer need us. Sadly we know that day will not be in any of our lifetimes, but we can hope! Feline Care was originally founded in 1997 by The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre charity, based in West Sussex. The CRRC operate a strict policy never to put a healthy animal to sleep which leads to a number of cats who take longer to re-home. Feline Care was founded to take on these 'unwanted' moggies and offer a forever-home to those with nowhere else to go. Over the years Feline Care has evolved as many of the nervous cats we take in have slowly learnt to love humans and have since found their own homes. Now we operate a regular rescue and rehoming sanctuary but with a difference because we will always aim to be here for those who need us most. Our attitude to euthanasia: we will only help our friends go for their final sleep when it is absolutely justified for their individual journey. We do not practice 'contextually justified' euthanasia as we believe we owe more than that to the cats in our care, euthanasia should never be for human convenience.

The past week Sheldon has been enjoying time outside exploring the rest of the sanctuary😺

It is very hard work going in and out the reception area, playing with catnip toys and finding the best spots to have a little snooze!

Now it's Tulips turn to show off her gorgeous face on our socials😻 It's the fluffy ears that do it for us🥹

Precious fluffy Blue, before he left for his forever home, with his favourite The Catnip Queen 'tache 💞

Our cats all loved the product testing phase and fully approve of the final luxurious result. We really like that they're tough enough for rough play and made to last.

Thank you to The Catnip Queen for their commitment to cat pleasure and for picking us as their nominated charity - our moggies receive a small purrcentage of every sale 😻

Thought you might appreciate starting your day with darling Sheldon, enjoying a silvervine stick in a c***k of sunshine yesterday 😻

He had a visit from his vet Marie on Wednesday and she's as delighted as we are to see how well he's doing.

6 weeks after saddle thrombus, his movement and muscle has recovered and he's put on an impressive half kilo in weight!

Every day with him feels like a miracle, and he thinks we're all soppy dates!
