Last Tuesday was the Annual Joint Business Associations Networking Event. This event brings together the members of the East Grinstead Business Association, Burgess Hill Business Parks Association, Haywards Heath Business Association and Gatwick Diamond Business.
Each year each association takes turns to host this event and this year it was EGBA's turn, and the venue was the amazing Chequer Mead Theatre here in East Grinstead.
It was great to see the event so well attended by members of all four associations and get the chance to catch-up with familiar faces and make new connections.
There was also an incredibly educating and entertaining presentation by Katie Flamman on 'The Power of Story Telling for Business Success', followed by a panel discussion with The Story Spotters, Louise Lucas from the The Colour Suite and John Pye of The Bookshop in East Grinstead.
We were also able to enjoy some amazing tapas supplied by fellow EGBA member The Paella Fella.
Events like these reinforce the power of networking and being an active part of your local business community and of course not being afraid of telling your story.
We hope that all the attendees had a fantastic time and were able to make new connections as well as catch-up with old friends.
