URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP

Blacks Corner has been broken into early this morning. If anyone in the area could please check their doorbells, dashcams, or any CCTV—particularly anywhere around Blacks Corner or between Blacks Corner and Grange Park—they would be so grateful.

They’re looking for anything from around 2:30am onwards.

If you find anything at all, please email: [email protected]

Thank you so much for your help and support.

Shocked and saddened, right before Christmas.

East Boldon has been broken into, we can’t go into much detail at this time regarding the crime.

Tonight’s event will go ahead for bauble painting and we look forward to seeing you all.

We have been forced to closed until 11am, anyone wanting coffees or show some support head to the Tram Shelter ❤️

🌿Exciting upgrade coming to Grange Park!🌿

You might’ve noticed some new additions taking shape recently — and there’s more to come! Thanks to fantastic support from our local councillors and South Tyneside Council, we were able to access a significant amount of funding to improve the park, making it more fun and inclusive for everyone.

The brand-new accessible seesaw is being installed as we speak, and by next week, we’re hoping the new climbing hexagons will be ready to go too! These additions will offer exciting challenges for children of all ages and abilities, and will make Grange Park an even better place to play, explore, and enjoy.

🌹 Meanwhile, the Rose Garden is looking absolutely wonderful as are our beautiful notice board planters, and we want to give a huge shout-out to our amazing regular volunteers: Ingrid, Dave, Bruce, Sue and Graeme — your hard work and dedication really show! Thank you also to everyone who pops along to help from time to time — every bit of support makes a difference.

If you’d like to get involved with the gardening team, just drop me a message and I can add you to the WhatsApp group where we organise things. It’s a great way to meet people and help keep the park looking its best!

🙌 A huge thank-you to our sponsors! 🙌
Although last year’s event was sadly rained off at the very last minute and we didn’t get to showcase their support properly, we haven’t forgotten how much they contributed. Their generosity makes such a difference — and we’ll continue to promote their businesses here on our page. 💼🌟

📸 See our page banner to check out our sponsors — please give them a follow, a like, or a visit if you can!

🎉 Sadly, we haven’t managed to organise any events this year — mainly down to me (Rebecca), as things have been a bit up in the air with my daughter Ella’s health over the last year, which made it hard to commit to anything too big. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. The good news is, she’s been doing really well these past few months, and we’re planning to bring the events back next year — bigger, better, and full of fun!

As always, we’d love more people to get involved — if you’re interested in helping out in any way, please just give us a shout. It really does take a village, and we’re so grateful for this one. ❤️
