Why is Girlguiding so special? πŸ’™

Girlguiding is so much more than just a weekly meeting. It's a place where girls make lifelong friendships, build confidence, learn new skills, challenge themselves, and create memories that last a lifetime.

It's not just the girls who benefit either. Our volunteers gain so much too – from learning new skills and building confidence to making wonderful friendships, giving back to the community, and having plenty of fun along the way. The rewards of volunteering are truly priceless.

Whether you're looking for an exciting adventure for your daughter or you're thinking about becoming a volunteer, there's a place for you in Girlguiding.

✨ Girls can join from 4 years old, and we'd love to welcome new members and volunteers into our Guiding family.

Come along, get involved, and discover what Girlguiding is all about! πŸ’™

πŸŒ³πŸ’› An evening full of smiles, laughter and adventure! πŸ’›πŸŒ³

Our Brownies had a fantastic time visiting the park this week, making the most of the sunshine and enjoying the freedom to play, explore and spend time together.

There were lots of happy faces on the roundabout, plenty of excitement on the zip wire, and laughter echoing around the playground as the girls encouraged one another and celebrated each other's achievements.

Sometimes the simplest evenings create the best memories. Through play, friendship and shared adventures, our Brownies continue to build confidence, resilience and teamworkβ€”all while having lots of fun!

What a wonderful way to spend a summer evening together. πŸŒˆπŸ’™

🌿🌈 Adventure, friendship and fun – that's what Girlguiding is all about! 🌈🌿

This week we enjoyed our annual summer walk from The Grange back to the Scout Hut, making the most of a beautiful evening together.

There were plenty of smiles as we played Pooh Sticks, explored and climbed the trees, and even had a lively game of "It" with Topaz! Every step of the journey was filled with laughter, and girls enjoying the freedom to explore the outdoors together.

To round off a fantastic evening, everyone enjoyed a well-earned cooling ice lolly before heading home.

It's evenings like these that remind us that some of the best adventures don't need to be far from homeβ€”just great friends, a little imagination, and the chance to discover the world around us. Here's to building confidence, making memories, and enjoying the magic of the great outdoors together. πŸ’™πŸƒπŸ¦

πŸš’πŸ”₯ To celebrate our heroes, both at the fire station and at home, the Rainbows and Brownies were delighted to invite their dads, grandads, and other special family members along for an evening at Midhurst Fire Station to celebrate Father's Day.

We had a fantastic time learning about the different types of incidents firefighters attend, getting hands-on with the fire hose, trying on some of the firefighting kit, and asking lots of interesting questions. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the vital role our local firefighters play in keeping our community safe.

Some of us even got rather soggy while having a go with the hoses, but that only added to the fun! We certainly had a brilliant time, and we hope all the dads, grandads, and family members who joined us enjoyed themselves just as much.

A huge thank you to Dan and the rest of the crew for giving up their time to show us around, share their knowledge, and make the evening so enjoyable. Your dedication and enthusiasm made it a truly memorable experience for everyone who attended. πŸš’β€οΈ

Easebourne Brownies had a fantastic visit to Cowdray Ruins today with our excellent host, Gemma.

We stepped back in time and discovered some rather whiffy smells from the past, explored the Tudor kitchen and tower room, and learned all about Tudor food and mealtimes. The Brownies also enjoyed playing traditional games (including one involving a goose!), taking part in quizzes, colouring activities, word searches, and a scavenger hunt.

This excellent visit built on the work the girls did last week towards their Local History Badge, adding to their knowledge and understanding of the fascinating history right on their doorstep.

The girls had a wonderful time and gained lots of new knowledge about Tudor life. A huge thank you to Gemma for making history come alive for us! πŸ°πŸ„β€οΈ

A wonderful Birthday Celebration at Easebourne Rainbows today! πŸŽ‰πŸŒˆ

The girls decided they wanted a party, so that's exactly what we had! The afternoon was filled with fun games, plenty of dancing, lots of laughter, and most importantly... CAKE!! πŸŽ‚βœ¨

It was fantastic to celebrate together and reflect on everything that makes Rainbows such a special place for friendship, fun, adventure, and learning new skills.

This year marks an incredible milestone as Easebourne Rainbows turns 36 years old! 🎈 What an achievement, and a testament to all the girls, leaders, volunteers, and families who have been part of our journey over the years.

Happy 36th Birthday, Easebourne Rainbows! Here's to many more years of fun, friendship, and making memories together. πŸ’™πŸŒˆπŸŽ‰
