We strive to provide a welcoming and accessible environment where everyone, regardless of age or ability, can enjoy the benefits of being on the water.

Wokingham Waterside Centre is a self-funded charity providing water sports to the local communities of Wokingham, Reading, Earley and the surrounding areas from our venue next to the river Thames. Providing paddlesports for all; our mission is to foster a love for water activities while promoting physical health, mental wellbeing and community engagement. Our centre facilities also include function and meeting rooms that are available for hire. Charity Number: 1100418

Here's a couple photos from the end of today's paddlesport instructor course! 🚣
All the participants did really well on the course, and we enjoyed getting some extra time on the water with everyone at the end of the day to try out different types of craft. As the saying goes - work hard, play hard! ✨️

Our winter pool sessions restart tomorrow evening, giving paddlers the perfect chance to keep skills sharp, build confidence and practise in a warm, relaxed environment.

2 weeks to go until the next AquaPaddle Reading event at WWC!

Come along and join in the FREE 5K paddling event on Sunday 4th October - it's not a race but a timed social paddle; a personal challenge and something different to do on a Sunday.

All you need to do is sign up via the AquaPaddle website and register for the Reading event.
