Wokingham Waterside Centre We strive to provide a welcoming and accessible environment where everyone, regardless of age or ability, can enjoy the benefits of being on the water.

Wokingham Waterside Centre is a self-funded charity providing water sports to the local communities of Wokingham, Reading, Earley and the surrounding areas from our venue next to the river Thames. Providing paddlesports for all; our mission is to foster a love for water activities while promoting physical health, mental wellbeing and community engagement. Our centre facilities also include function and meeting rooms that are available for hire. Charity Number: 1100418

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for River Clean Ups over the past couple of weeks 🌊♻️

Our first river clean up of the year was a part of Paddle UK's Big Paddle Clean Up campaign and had a great turn out from our local community despite the wet weather, including the newly appointed Mayor of Wokingham, and member of University of Reading's Knights Canoe Club.
This was followed by sessions with our youth club and social groups further making a difference.

This week we also supported Oracle with their annual river clean up morning with a super positive group of volunteers both on and off the water.

Altogether, we removed litter, helped protect local wildlife, and made a real difference to our stretch of the River Thames.
It's amazing what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared goal.

👏 Great teamwork. Great community. Great impact. 🚣‍♀️

We had a great time last night at our first Sunsetters session of the season! ☀️

What a fantastic way to start the return of our evening social paddles - some new faces, some long-time returners, and a gorgeous sunset - definitely the best way to start the week! 🚣

We're looking forward to SunSUPpers on Wednesday evening (our paddleboarding social session).
