The AOE Windfarm Community Fund AGM will be held on Thursday 20th August 2026 in the Earls Hall in Eglinton Arms Hotel at 7:30pm.

It was a pleasure to meet Karen and Holly from Kidney Kids Scotland today as we presented them with a cheque for **£2,160.40**.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible – all the walkers who took part in the Covenanters Walk, all the teams who supported the quiz night at the Lodge In The Lane , and everyone who generously donated to the collection bucket during the tractor ride on Fair Day D C Services - Highland Mobile Sheep Dippers/Scotsqueeze

🎪❤️ **The volunteers at Eaglesham Fair love organising our bi-ennial fair.** Every event is planned with passion, dedication and community spirit—all alongside our day jobs, family commitments and busy lives.

Like so many volunteer-run fairs and Gala Days across Scotland, we're proud to give our time to keep this wonderful tradition alive. But increasing costs, paperwork and licensing requirements are making it harder for volunteers everywhere.

That's why we're asking you to support **Scottish Parliament Petition PE2228**, which calls for a review of the growing licensing, regulatory and financial burdens placed on volunteer-run community fairs and Gala Days.
