Most commentaries will focus on the economic cost, but what we're confronted with most, day-to-day in our Hubs, is the human cost. The loss of self-worth, confidence, connection & routine. These are the foundations that have to be re-built in order for young people to move forward
The community context of our work-based training isn't an accident. It provides opportunities for establishing these foundations - and a springboard for a future that's both achievable and sustainable
