What a lovely party we had last night to mark the end of Uley WI. Yes, it’s sad, but when you peel back the layers of the NFWI, you begin to see the bigger picture. Change is needed - WIs are folding all over the country.

We’re incredibly lucky to have such an active and engaged group, and the committee have remained true to the wishes of the members throughout.

Now it’s time for change… and let’s hope we swim.

Last night at our monthly meeting, with 2 officers from GFWI present, we voted.
Uley WI, with 82% of members voting to leave WI, will officially now become a ‘Ladies Group’ come April.
