😻 It's time to look for our banner photo for OCTOBER 📸
Please post your favourite photo of your fabulous feline friend in the comments and we'll try to choose just one ready for Thursday the 1st. Remember LANDSCAPE ↔️ works better than portrait on Facebook, otherwise we loose the cat's head 😂.

😻 It's Forever Home Friday 😻
Sam is looking super relaxed in his Forever Home. Thank you to the lovely Rebecca who chose to adopt not shop. There were a couple of days early on when he didn't eat well and caused a bit of anxiety for his new hooman. This is very common for cats when they move to a new environment, particularly during the first 3 days. Once settled in they soon get their appetite back.

😻 It's Forever Home Friday 😻

We try our best to place the right cat in the right home but we don't always get it right first time. The first time Sid was adopted he was returned after 3 weeks as he wasn't settling and his behaviour said he wasn't happy 😢. He waited a month while we looked for the right hooman for him and found the lovely Bonnie who fell for this handsome boy. He is now totally settled in and adored by his new hooman 🥳

😻 It's Forever Home Friday 😻
Salem looking totally relaxed in his new home. This boy was mischievous as a basket full of monkeys and we're sure he'll be keeping the lovely Claire on her toes. Adopted from Durham Dogs & Cats Home .

‼️ * Edit* REHOMED 🥳🥳
Void is looking for his forever home. He had a viewing arranged but has been let down so is available for adoption again.
Void is the sweetest little boy, the complete opposite to his namesake in the Marvel series 🤣
We think hell grow in to those ears. He is a gentle little kitten although he's at that age with the needle sharp claws and teeth. A typical kitten, he is full off playfulness and in to everything and climbing up everything. When he's getting a fuss he dribbles in ecstasy and nibbles on your hand. Void is 4 months old, neutered, vaccinated and microchiped. If you are interested in enquiring about Void please go to our website durhamdogsandcats.org.uk and complete a registration form and if we think you are a good match one of our volunteers will be in touch.
