All ready to welcome everyone to our 'Welcome to Easter' afternoon at Belmont Community Centre at 1.30pm ( Doors open from 1.15pm).

Entertainment, stalls, Tombola, refreshments and raffle. Everyone welcome! 🐰🐣

If the centre carpark is busy, there is plenty of parking over at the Durham Retail Park (free for 3 hours).

Members have been working with Lisa (Community Engagement) and Emma (Curator of Social History) from Beamish Museum alongside some of our community guests to look at every day objects from the museum and the stories behind them. Everyone was invited to bring along their own individual object that meant something to share and oral stories were recorded for Beamish Museum's archives.

Our Wednesday WWP ladies planted loads of Spring bulbs at Ushaw Historic House, Chapels & Gardens in the Autumn. We're looking forward to seeing them all in bloom 🌷

Our young adults really enjoyed the opportunity to work with Charlotte and the community engagement team at Ushaw Historic House, Chapels & Gardens. The group took part in a Joan Miró art workshop, learning about the artist and producing their own Miró influenced art work to be included in the upcoming 'Joan Miró: Painting and Poetry' exhibition in April.
