There’s nothing better than donning your wellies and getting out in the fresh air to visit the amazing North End Allotment Association in all its glory. The Association does an incredible job and hopes to be raising funds for a local charity again this year at its annual open day. Lots of beautiful produce, cakes and so much more. ❤️❤️❤️

Wow! What a day yesterday. Thank you everyone who visited yesterday and thank you to the volunteers you all made the the day special. We made £200 for St Cuthbert's Hospice from the tombola and donations and over £500 for the allotments from the other stalls. Turns out the scarecrow was named Steve and the pumpkin weighs 10.5kg! We look forward to seeing you all again at next years open day.

Just over a week to go until the open day. Why not combine a look around the allotments with a guided tour of Flass Vale with the Friends of Flass Vale as part of heritage open days weekend.

Flass Vale is a wooded valley close to the centre of Durham City.
