As a charity we were privileged to take part in the research about the issues of NEETs in the North East- 1 in 5 of our young people are not in work, education or training. Hopefully, this research will lead to government action and more support for our region 🙏The Centre for Social Justice

One in five young people in the North East are not in education, employment or training. Nationally, it’s one in eight.

That’s why I, alongside 60 other regional leaders, have signed a joint letter to the Prime Minister, urging him to give us the means to tackle this crisis.

The Centre for Social Justice recent report, 16-24 Going Under, calls for Government action. We stand ready to deliver and urge the Prime Minister to unleash the vast potential of young people in the North East.
