At our Installation Meeting on 12th February W Bro Nigel Watson was installed as WM for the second time. The PGM was represented by W Bro Kenneth Kent and the Lidge was delighted to also wecome the DepProvGM W Bro Andrew Foster and PAsstProvGM W Bro Kenneth Howe as guests. A great night was had by all in a packed Festive Board with the Masters Song performed by W Bro Peter Johnson to raptuous applause.

At our January Meeting we welcomed the AsstProvGM W Bro LtCol John Henry to present a 50 year certificate to Bro Andrew Bryce who unfortunately could not attend the meeting. We persuaded W Bro John Henry to present 3 Solomon Diploma certificates instead to the WM W Bro Joseph Davey, W Bro Nigel Watson and Bro Darren Smith.

City Lodge 3568 Installation night is fast approaching - Thursday 12th February starting at 6.30pm where W Bro Nigel Watson will be installed into the Chair of King Solomon for second time. Still places left for attending and dining, last date to confirm Friday 6th February 2026.

Great walk yesterday in aid of Veterans Aid. A little over 20 miles from the Heugh Gun Battery at Hartlepool to the War Memorial at Mowbray Park in Sunderland. A little under £400 raised before Gift Aid - over £9k raised by the band of brothers to be match funded by the Durham Freemasons Charity.
