Durham Astronomical Society - UK Amateur astronomical society based in Durham, UK Due to Covid our face to face meetings are on hold but we are still holding Zoom meetings at the same times.

FREE to anyone who can collect it. A Meade telescope wedge, pillar and base. It has been outside in all weathers so needs a good clean and l**e. The pillar is heavy as it’s filled with sand and it’s cast iron. 2 people will be needed to lift it. I can’t remember the name of the material on the base but it does not deteriorate.

This Friday 25th September is our AGM and will be followed by a talk on whats up 2026-2027.
The meeting will be held at the botanic gardens Durham, the doors will open at 7:00pm for the meeting to start at 7:30pm. The subs will be due for the new season.

This is a members night so if you have any images or new equipment to show or anything to do a short talk about please bring it along. There will be a laptop and projector available for anyone who needs it.
