Shotton Community Hub Situated in the heart of Shotton Colliery, the newly built Shotton Community Hub was a long term dream of Shotton Partnership 2000 Ltd.

and finally opened its doors in February 2020 with a programme of exciting services and activities. Shotton Partnership, which was established in 1998 to improve the quality of life for the residents of our village, took over management of Shotton Community Centre four years ago and was instrumental in raising just over £1million which enabled the village to have the brand new Community Hub. The P

artnership is made up of local volunteers, most of whom have lived in Shotton all their lives. We have been involved in many projects over the past 22 years and, following public consultation, have delivered services to fit the needs of the residents of Shotton. Here at the Hub we offer a wide range of services, activities and support for everyone in our I.T. Suite, Café, Hall, activity and meeting rooms. Our friendly and welcoming staff are ready to help and support where needed. Shotton Community Hub aims to actively encourage and support widespread community participation, increase volunteer opportunities and reinvigorate community pride. We will continue to support changes for the better within our village.

🎬 LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
Join us at Shotton Youth Centre for a brilliant week of filmmaking from Monday 17 to Friday 21 August, 12 noon–4pm each day.
Young people will take a film from the first idea to the big screen—brainstorming, scriptwriting, making costumes, filming and editing. It’s a fantastic chance to get creative, learn new skills, work as a team and have plenty of fun along the way!
🍽️ Free for children receiving free school meals.
