Recovery Durham was set up by members of the Durham recovery community as they had identified that there was no abstinent based recovery support. The aim is to provide a safe place to share experiences to help each other progress forward in recovery and life. Recovery Durham local meetings are open to anyone who is abstinent from substances, this means you only have to be abstinent on the day of the group meeting but you would be encouraged to be looking towards an abstinent based lifestyle.
