I will be closing this page down and reopening a new page as I can’t seem to acces any of the settings for some reason it isn’t accepting the password I will be removing all the children’s pictures etc that have been posted before hand so when I set the new page up could everyone please unfollow this one and follow the new one it looks like that will be the easiest way to do it thank you for your patience I do appreciate it it will all be up and running in the next week

Hi everyone now that the kids have broken up if anyone has any old uniform items pe kits coats shoes etc even school bags please consider donating to us as I am setting up a uniform area where people can come and help them selves to anything they might need x

Hi everyone sorry I haven’t posted in a while I’ve taken a bit of time to have a re think about the running of the group and I’ve decided I am going to continue doing it and running the clothes and food side along side the toddlers because if I help just one family it means I made a difference to someone and that means a lot there is to be a few changes though because we are no longer part of because we care Durham I need to change the name and the logo of the group so I will be running a competition for the local kids to design a logo and there will be a prize for which one is chosen it won’t be judged by just me there will be a vote for who’s is chosen by a few people and we will be dropping the because from our name and will be known as we care west rainton I will also be doing a lot more fundraising things and hopefully calling on our local teenagers to help with some ideas they have came to me with to raise money not just for the group but for other charities we have a lot of exciting ideas from these young people and I will definitely be encouraging them to help me bring them to life there are very enthusiastic about doing this and taking part in the planning etc for it all so watch this space we care west rainton is going to be stronger than ever these young kids are amazing and showing a side a lot of people rarely see but there about to surprise a lot of people and hopefully raise a lot of money for charity I will update as things start to progress and also set up a place to have pictures dropped of for the competition thank you everyone for your continued support

Well I wouldn’t say the Jumble sale didn’t work as I hope the ones that did come really felt they’d got a bargain with what they had and people seemed to be happy when they left. I’m so so grateful they took there time out to come and support us only I’m just a little disappointed with the turn out for the day. I started this whole toddler/Foodbank to really help people who need it, the requests for help keep coming in and days like this really help me to provide the support to them. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful donations most of which wouldn’t look out of place in a retail shop never mind my jumble rail. I’m now contemplating if it’s too big for me, I did start with a lot of support from outside groups who provided me with food boxes and support that all ended a while ago so the food I’ve been sending out has came solely from donations and what I can get in myself. It’s killing me letting people who are desperate down but I’d need more support to keep this going, as I said the requests keep coming in for help but the support just isn’t there now. I’m truly so grateful to the our little toddlers family who turn out every week play our games enjoy the toys and have a cuppa which helps me keep going as I truly love the kids that is what keeps pushing me to keep going I’m going to take a day or two to have a think about what I can do to maybe improve myself in order to keep providing the support for you where needed and I’m always always open to any ideas anyone might have or if I’ve gone wrong please tell me. I started this blind and maybe made a few errors but if you’ve got any ideas I’d love to know them and take the support from you. Again thank you to every single person who has helped us get this far via donations, time, or just making the cuppas I can assure that support has helped a. Lot of families who’ve been desperate to ask for help.
