The film ‘People’s Emergency Briefing’ from the National Emergency Briefing is a new public information initiative to ensure the UK is fully briefed on the climate and nature crisis. The photo on the right shows the number and locations of screenings being hosted in the UK since it was released this month.
Don’t miss out on this powerful, scientific explanation of how climate change will devastate humankind, unless we act now. Come to a local screening in Duns tomorrow evening, hosted by Greener Duns, and find out for yourselves. 7pm Wed 22 April, Duns Volunteer Hall, TD11 3AF, after our AGM at 6.15.

📢 A special community screening: The People’s Emergency Briefing
What’s happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK?
Join us for a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing - an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like:
🌧️ Extreme weather

💷 Cost of living
The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.
After the film there will be a short open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.
