How can the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment be improved?

Now is our chance to tell the UK Government.

It will soon be reviewing the assessment, led by the Minister for Social Security and Disability, Sir Stephen Timms and we'd like to hear from you.

Borders Talking Newspapers!

See the video explaining what we do on our website blog at: www.btn.org.uk

After getting all the finances in order and working so efficiently for more than 4 years, our Treasurer, Fiona, decided to hand over the reins last year. A replacement was found but, unfortunately, she died very suddenly soon after. Fiona very generously agreed to take temporary control of the finances - but so far we have been unable to recruit a successor.
Are you, or can you think of anyone you know who might be, interested in offering vital support in running Borders Talking Newspapers? Fiona says the bookkeeping averages around 3 to 4 hours a month, with additional short periods for seasonal/annual reports etc, and will be happy to have an informal chat to anyone who thinks they could do the job.
If you can help in any way, please contact Wendy on 01361 889211 or email: [email protected]. Many thanks.
