The adventure starts here !!!!!!
Hi welcome too the Budget Bonds page . On the 3rd June this year (2018) we will be taking part in an epic road trip called Rust 2 Rome . The trip starts in Edinburgh and covers 4500+ miles through France,The Swiss Alps and Italy finishing in Rome 10 days later sounds easy doesn't it ???
But here's the kicker the trip has to be done in vehicle costing no more than £500 which certainly makes it a lot more interesting and making it that slightly more challenging hence the trips name !!!! So after much searching online, through newspaper's etc we found the perfect car which is ( drum roll ) a 16 year young Jaguar V6 X type bought for £250 . Unfortunately we couldn't find an Aston Martin DB5 within the £500 budget too truly recreate the James Bond theme hence the team name of The Budget Bonds !!!
The team consists of Joel Prentice & myself Alan Fairbairn who are willing too take on this epic road trip but what makes this trip more of a personal challenge for myself is that I have Parkinson's . So with this in mind the team have chosen too raise money for The Cure Parkinson's Trust who are working to find a cure for a condition that effects over 127’000 people in the UK.
We as a team would like too make sure that all money raised from donations goes too the Cure Parkinson’s Trust the trip is being SELF FUNDED BY OURSELVES so 100% of your donation goes too where its much needed and appreciated .
