This Second Hand September, we are delighted to announce the first ever Scrappy Couture Challenge!

Show your sustainable style and craft an item of clothing or an accessory entirely from second hand and recycled materials to win a featured spot in the shop window and a £10 voucher for Oxfam Dunoon!

You can apply as an individual or as a group, and all ages are encouraged to take part. Teachers, why not get your class involved in a group project? Our emphasis is on sustainability and recycling, so everything from old newspapers to bottle caps is on the table.

Online Shop volunteering offers a range of activities to suit different interests and strengths. You might enjoy researching interesting products, writing listings, taking photographs, organising stock, packing orders, or supporting day-to-day operations behind the scenes.

Whether you enjoy creative tasks, problem-solving, working independently, or being part of a team, we'll help you find a role that matches your interests, skills and confidence.

Due to an unexpected staff shortage, we will be CLOSED THIS SATURDAY 1st AUGUST as well as our planned closure on Sunday. The good news is we will be back to normal opening hours 7 days a week from Monday. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and ask you to consider volunteering so we can keep the doors open!
