The EIS believes that the Scottish Government should facilitate and put additional funding into schools so that they have the time and resources to address distressed, violent and aggressive pupil behaviour, and embed positive school culture and ethos. Action Short of Strike (ASOS) encompasses any industrial action, aside from strike action, that does not involve a complete refusal to work

10/03/2026

Hello. Understandably, many of you are asking what’s happening specifically in A and B.

We ARE NOT part of the targeted striking on the 18th March.

We ARE part of the National ASOS from the 16th.

Hopefully, we will not even get to this stage and will have a resolution by then.

We will e-mail if there are any further updates on what this means for staff.

Thanks,
Lorna/Dan.
