🪑 Chair Yoga at Dunnington
Have you ever heard — or caught yourself saying — “I can’t do that”… after trying something once or not really trying at all?

That’s often a self-imposed limitation. A belief built from uncertainty, past experience, or fear of getting it wrong.

Many people aren’t aware of how their body is designed to move — or how movement impacts different areas of the body. It can sound surprising, but it’s true.
I like to call it back to basics — when movement is explained and broken down clearly:

• You start to understand what your body is doing

• You see where tension or restriction sits

• You notice how habits affect posture and mobility

• You become aware of negative self-limiting thoughts that show up during movement

• You build awareness around physical and mental blockages

And something powerful happens — those perceived limitations begin to soften.
In my sessions, we use the chair as support to build confidence, strength and connection. It creates a safe space to explore movement without judgement.
It’s incredible to watch people realise how capable their bodies actually are.
