Better dementia care full stop.

This Dementia Awareness Week, we’re calling on the new government to prioritise dementia and deliver the improvements people urgently need.

Across Scotland, too many people are still facing challenges that cannot be ignored:
🕓 People are waiting too long for a diagnosis
🏠 Families are providing care with limited support in place
🗺️ Access to care and treatment can vary depending on where you live

These challenges have a real impact on daily life, and without the right care and support, too many people are being denied the chance to live well with dementia.

Change is overdue. It’s time for the new government to deliver better diagnosis, care and support for everyone affected by dementia across Scotland.
