As a result of Your support, among others, 2019 will be the Fifth Royal Marines Association ‘Browning’ Charity Shoot! Thank you!
It is a testament to the development of this fundraising effort that it has been renamed, by the Corps, the ROYAL MARINES COMMANDO ‘BROWNING’ CHARITY CLAY SHOOT. Or, in ‘Royal speak’ RMCCS19
The Event has become one, if not THE principal annual fundraising event in Scotland that directly supported The Royal Marines Charity (TRMC). The Royal Marines Association and the Royal Marines Charity were officially merged, yesterday 1st April 2019, and now down as RMA - The Royal Marines Charity. This singe entity will continue to provide timely and flexible assistance to Royal Marines; Regular, Reserve, Retired, Physically or Psychologically wounded as well as our bereaved families or those in particular need. In short, to directly support the whole Royal Marines Family.
The Royal Marines is a large and active family. The resulting demands on resources and welfare have become a considerable challenge. But meeting Challenges is what ‘Royal’ does best! Although sometimes we need a little help - to help ourselves.
Please join Us for this Event or support Us remotely. Bring a Team on Friday (30 x 3 gun teams available), or come as a Dinner Guest (100 places available). By popular demand, Saturday format has been modified in order to permit another team competition: The Inter-Service Grand Prix, will entertain entries from HM Forces, Emergency Services, University/College and Club teams of 4 guns.
If you cannot jon us on this weekend, simply buy a few Raffle Tickets, from our sponsors retail outlets, online or call the Event line - every £2 counts. There are no Admin Fees paid to conduct this event, all the labour and admin is voluntary by RM / RMR / RMA members and our friends. Essential costs are borne by our generous sponsors. Thus, every one of your pennies goes directly to RMA - The Royal Marines Charity to directly support Our Family.
Another way to support this Event and its cause is to pass the ‘Buzz’ to those you know may be interested.
