A rainy day in Dungannon but a fun time was had as the club took part in the St Patrick's celebrations, and a great turnout in the town despite the weather. Happy St Patrick's Day to all our followers and the diving community ☘️.....

Everyone at Dungannon Sub Aqua Club would like to wish the best of luck to the four candidates in the Northern Region doing their Mon 1 Theory exams today with Donegal Bay SAC.

These exams are the culmination of a lot of hard work and study and takes huge dedication over years, and shows true commitment to safe diving and the continued growth of Sub Aqua sports across Ireland.

These examinations today couldn't take place without the support and cooperation of individuals and Sub Aqua Clubs across the length and breadth of the island, and a big thank you goes out to them as well.

Fancy taking on a new adventure in life? Come join us in Dungannon Leisure Centre from this Wednesday and learn the skills to explore the world under the waves, gain international diving qualifications and join a community of scuba divers around Ireland.

And what about the wee ones? How about learning some new life skills in our Sub Aqua Snappers junior snorkelers program, gain confidence in the water and a new love of the sea......

Very late at posting this (blame Kyle) but first photo dump from our big training session out at Malin Beg in May, grant funded by Mid Ulster District Council. Trainees qualified, lots of great dives had, and lots of good times with our diving family. Sad to say it was our last diving event with our buddy Mark, but this weekend could not have been better......

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our club member Mark Wardle.
Mark was a loving family man and active member of our club along with his son, Cormac, who loved the water and was a big part of Dungannon Sub Aqua. His sudden passing on Monday leaves a painful void in our club.
Mark was a ray of positivity and a true gentleman.
Our most heartfelt condolences are with Rachel, Cormac, Klara, and Mark's daughter, Sara and son Simon, and the entire family circle.
May he rest in peace......
