Our training classes finished for the year on Thursday 27th August. The last class was a "mini test" for the dogs and handlers. Everyone enjoyed a good evening's craic and we wish everyone and their dogs good luck for the forthcoming season!

This year we had a special "Young dog handler" category at our working test. It was great seeing so many young people participate and watch. Our chairman awarded prizes to these enthusiastic young handlers

What a fantastic day for our Working Tests, with an outstanding entry of 84 dogs competing across 4 events - Amazing!!

The weather was excellent, the quality of the ground and forest provided superb conditions for working gundogs.

Congratulations to all our prize winners, and especially to our Young Handlers, who were a credit to the sport.

A huge thank you to our judges, dummy throwers, BBQ chefs for an amazing lunch, and all our members whose hard work helped make the day such a success.

We are grateful to our sponsors, Gilbertson & Page and Heatherlea Pet Shop, for their continued support.

Today also marked the first event where we proudly had our iPad AED on site. We're delighted that the proceeds from today's event have more than covered its cost. Well done everyone, and thank you for your support!
