Rushmere Shopping Centre, Craigavon has recently announced Buddy Bear Trust and Save the Children as their official charity partners for 2011. Brendan McConville, Chairman of the Trust, said: "We are delighted to receive the support of Rushmere Shopping Centre which will help us deliver a vital service to young people in Dungannon and communities across Northern Ireland who face many challenges with their condition."

Killicomaine pupils have raised £400 for The Buddy Bear Trust
On Thursday 10th February 2011, a cheque for £400 was presented to the chairman of The Buddy Bear Trust. The pupils of Killicomaine Junior High School had raised the money last term by having a Christmas themed non-uniform day. The Buddy Bear Trust helps children with cerebral palsy and motor disorders. Jessica Kerr, a pupil at Killicomaine, made the school aware of the Trust, as her brother Caleb suffers from cerebral palsy.

Thanks to all at BDO’s whose CSR team who recently held a
Halloween charity coffee morning in their offices to raise funds for their
nominated charity, Buddy Bear. Staff were shown a video of how the
money they have raised to date for the charity has helped the children
at the Buddy Bear School. The morning helped to bring in over £400
for the Buddy Bear School!!

BDO Northern Ireland’s nominated charity through to June 2011. The Buddy Bear Trust, an independent school which provides Conductive Education for children living with Cerebral Palsy and Motor Disorders.

Congratulations to the local Dungannon U16’s who beat
Trillick in Eskra on Saturday. Big thanks to the players who took time out
before the final with Trillick to sign a jersey to help Buddy Bear School,
helping children with cerebral palsy. Photo’s now up online!
