🤿Training day 🤿
It’s been a great day getting our second boat in the water! Having two boats available is a huge step forward for our team, improving our ability to respond to emergencies, cover more of the river, and provide assistance when it’s needed most. Every second counts in a rescue situation, and having that extra boat gives us greater flexibility, support, and capability when responding to incidents.
As part of today’s work, we’ve also been checking the life rings along the river. These are vital pieces of safety equipment that could one day save someone’s life. 🛟
We will be reporting this one tomorrow morning.
Please help us keep everyone safe: if you notice a missing or damaged life ring, or spot one that needs attention, please report it to the relevant authorities or our team so it can be checked and replaced as soon as possible.
Water safety is everyone’s responsibility, and together we can help keep our river safer for everyone who uses it.
A big thank you to everyone who continues to support our search and rescue team. Every bit of support makes a difference! ❤️
