Past and present members of the Central Dunfermline Community Council (CDCC) recently celebrated 25 years of local involvement.

Last night, Provost Leishman hosted a civic reception to welcome the 35 newly selected members of the Dunfermline New City Assembly.

These residents, chosen to reflect Dunfermline’s diversity, met for the first time to begin their journey in shaping Dunfermline’s future. The event included a warm welcome from dignitaries and an introduction to the Assembly’s purpose: exploring how we continue to improve our community as our city grows.

A brighter welcome to Dunfermlin‍‍e

Big changes are coming to the Dunfermline City Station underpass. A new project is set to transform this tired space into a vibrant, welcoming gateway - improving safety, cleanliness and civic pride.

Thanks to £10,250 from the area committee, the underpass will be restored with local art and better lighting - creating a safer and more attractive city centre.

Led by Fire Station Creative, this project is a great example of how creativity and community can come together to make a real difference.
