Another evening on the sofa? 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲? Or another promise to yourself that you really should get out and do more?

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲! 👀

Next Wednesday, Dunfermline Round Table is heading to the ice hockey to watch the Fife Flyers take on the Belfast Giants in the Challenge Cup!

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲'𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀!🙌

That's the thing about Round Table. We're always doing something different.

One week we're tasting rare rums, another we're climbing mountains, playing pickleball, trying archery or heading away for a weekend with Tablers from across the country.

Sometimes it's something you've always wanted to try. Sometimes it's something you'd never even thought about doing.

But that's half the fun!

You don't need to organise it. You don't need to convince your mates to come. You don't even need to know anyone!

Just turn up and get involved. ❤️

We're a social club for guys aged 18 to 45, and we're always looking for new people to join us. Whether you've recently moved to the area, lost touch with old friends or simply fancy having more things to look forward to, there's a place for you at our Table.

🥃 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙐𝙎𝙐𝘼𝙇 𝙁𝙍𝙄𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝙉𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏.

This Friday, we’re swapping the usual pints for something a little more interesting.

One of our former Tablers, and someone with a huge amount of experience and knowledge of rum, is joining us for a guided tasting of some seriously rare and unusual rums from around the world. 🌍🥃

We’ll hear the stories behind them, learn a bit about what makes each one different and, most importantly, actually get to taste them.

You don’t need to know anything about rum. You don’t need to be a member. And you definitely don’t need to know anyone before you come along.

❤️ OVER £10,000 GIVEN BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY.

What an incredible evening.

Our Big Charity Giveaway brought together some amazing local charities, community groups and good causes, all doing their bit to make Dunfermline and the surrounding area a better place.

And on the night, Dunfermline Round Table had the absolute privilege of giving away more than £10,000 from our fundraising. ❤️

That is £10,000+ going back into our local community, helping organisations and individuals who give their time, energy and passion to support other people.

For us, one of the best parts of the evening was simply having so many of those groups together in one room. Hearing about the work they do, the people they support and what a difference even a little extra help can make was genuinely inspiring.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, and congratulations to every organisation that received funding. We hope it helps you continue doing the brilliant work you already do. 🙌

Our Community Service Liaison Officer, Sangamesh Hugar, summed the evening up perfectly:

“The Big Charity Giveaway was an amazing evening and a real privilege to host on behalf of Dunfermline Round Table.

It’s brilliant to see what happens when a group of men come together to make a difference in our local community. Round Table isn’t just about charity. It’s about friendship, fellowship, having fun and giving something back.

Really proud to be part of it.”

And that last part is important to us.

Round Table isn’t a charity club. We’re an events based men’s social club that also happens to do some pretty amazing things for our community.

We go hillwalking. We play cricket and pickleball. We travel around the country. We have weekends away. We make friends, have a laugh and occasionally get ourselves into some fairly ridiculous situations.

And through all of that, we raise money that allows evenings like this to happen.

More than £10,000 given back in one night.

That’s something every member of Dunfermline Round Table, past and present, and everyone who has supported our fundraising should be incredibly proud of. ❤️

And as Sangamesh said:

If you’re thinking about joining, come along and see what we’re about. You might just be missing out! 🍻🙌
