👏Today we're highlighting a fantastic Respitality donor, Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa whose generous break donation meant more carers could attend a Carers Wellbeing Event delivered in partnership with Dundee Carers Centre.

The impact was clear, with positive feedback from carers and the donor, demonstrating the real difference Respitality can make.

After the event The Apex said "We at Apex Hotels always look at ways to give back to the community and this event with Dundee Carers Centre very much aligns with our ethos. We are very grateful at having the opportunity to host such a wonderful event.”

Ostatnie dni spędziliśmy w Edynburgu, by poznać szkocki model Respitality, który łączy opiekunów osób przewlekle chorych lub z niepełnosprawnościami z przedstawicielami sektora turystycznego. Podstawą tego pomysłu jest współpraca organizacji takich jak nasza fundacja z hotelami, centrami wypoczynkowymi lub restauracjami po to, by rodzic mógł nieodpłatnie skorzystać z ich usług. W Szkocji działania "Respitality" (połączenie słów respite-wytchnienie oraz hospitality-gościnności) już od 10 lat we współpracy z tamtejszym rządem.

Zabieramy inspirację, motywację i dobre praktyki do Wrocławia, by jeszcze skuteczniej dawać wytchnienie!

Oprócz naszej fundacji, w wizycie studyjnej brali udział Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Dolnośląskiego, Miejski Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej we Wrocławiu, Fundacja Imago, Stowarzyszenie Bonitum, Fundacja Polska górom oraz Wyższa Szkoła Kształcenia Zawodowego - Uczelnia.

🙌shout out to fantastic Respitality donor Scottish Opera

We were delighted to present a Respitality certificate yesterday in recognition of their support. Over the last year, they donated more than 35 tickets for performances through the Respitality programme, offering short breaks for carers and creating memorable experiences.

Our friends at Carers Leeds are celebrating a special birthday. Their short breaks programme The Caring Kind Project turns 1 this week! 🥳

We have been lucky enough to work closely with the team as consultants to help build a social tourism programme that is meaningful to unpaid carers in West Yorkshire, and we couldn't be prouder.

Enjoy this exciting milestone, and we cannot wait to see what else is in store for you!
