We would like to express our gratitude to Charlene from Different, Not Less Holistic Therapy for her generous donation to Short Breaks, which provides unpaid carers with much-needed time to relax and rest from their caregiving roles.

Charlene shared, "I'm incredibly grateful to be part of supporting unpaid carers through Dundee Carers Centre. As a holistic therapist at Different, Not Less Holistic Therapy, and also a carer myself, it's meaningful to give back to those who dedicate so much time to caring for others. Carers often experience emotional, mental, and physical stress, and I hope my vouchers offer someone the opportunity to rest, recharge, and feel supported."

🚗✨ Respitality hit the road last week with the Short Breaks Fund team!

From the Highlands and Moray to Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, it was fantastic to see the impact of Respitality in action and hear how the programme is supporting unpaid carers across the regions.

A huge thank you to our Respitality partners for the warm welcomes, valuable conversations, and ongoing support. And to the incredible donors we met along the way, thank you for your generosity and the positive difference you're making to carers lives every day.

Respitality recently welcomed delegates from Poland to Scotland to learn more about the Respitality model and how it supports unpaid carers to access short breaks.🙌

The visit was packed with presentations from our delivery partners, donors and Shared Care Scotland, as well as plenty of opportunities for discussion, learning and sharing ideas.

A huge dziękuję (thank you) to everyone involved in making the visit such a success. We can't wait to welcome our Polish colleagues back to Scotland in September!

🔦We're shining a spotlight on long term donor Hostelling Scotland!

Join us as we visit their welcoming hostel in Glasgow, offering comfortable spaces, stunning views, beautiful surroundings and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with nature. For unpaid carers, these breaks provide more than just time away, they create special moments and lasting memories for carers and their loved ones. One family shared:

"The hostel was excellent and we were very lucky with the weather. It was such a great break for us all. My son (age 6) said he had one of the best days of his life!"

We are incredibly grateful to Hostelling Scotland for their continued commitment to supporting unpaid carers, helping them recharge, reconnect and make precious family memories.💜💜
