Dunfermline Track & Field Club is a small and friendly amateur athletics club based at Pitreavie Athletics Centre, Dunfermline. We coach male and female athletes of all abilities from age 8 upwards in Track & Field athletics and Cross-Country running. We have produced, and continue to produce, medalists and champions at Scottish, British and World level as well as Scottish and British Internationa
lists. For some time Gemma Nicol has represented the club and at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games, she ran for Scotland in the opening leg of the 4 X 400m relay in both the semi-final and final. Owen Miller is also a long-term member of the Club and Disability Sport Fife and was recently selected to represent Great Britain at the 7th INAS World Indoor Athletics Championships. In 2011 Owen competed at the World Special Olympics Games in Athens with considerable success and then went on to Italy for the Global Games. As the leading GB athlete in the T20 class for 1500 metres, Owen ran a PB.
