You can apply for a free digital membership and enjoy discounted stays at hostels across Scotland - perfect for weekends away, camps and adventures!

Our membership cards are available for groups to borrow, giving you the chance to visit some of Scotland’s most amazing heritage sites and outdoor spaces. We have up to 20 cards available.

What. A. Week! 🤩

We’ve loved welcoming the 6th Gosport Rowner Air Scout Group KAVS to Lochgoilhead for an action-packed summer camp filled with adventure, challenges, new skills, badges and plenty of unforgettable memories.

The group worked towards their badges, including paddle sports, climbing, survival skills, nautical skills and sailing, putting their new skills to the test and stepping outside their comfort zones.

And the verdict from the Scouts?

💬 “I done things way out of my comfort zone… My favourite part was the rock climbing and abseiling.” - Jimmy, 11

💬 “I learned lots of new things and knots on nautical skills. It was the best time.” - Alex, 10

💬 “Had lots of fun… favourite activity was paddleboarding.” - Kayleigh, 9

💬 “It was so good! I enjoyed every activity.” - Louis, 11

From pirates on paddleboard️s to fireside bushcraft, epic wide games and the Lochgoil Olympics, it’s been a week of adventure, teamwork, laughter and pushing boundaries.

A huge thank you to the 6th Gosport Rowner Air Scouts for being such a fantastic group - we hope you’re heading home tired, happy and full of stories to tell! 💚

Great to have the team from Pamis at Fordell Firs with us! 💙

Together, we're exploring how we can improve access to our toilet facilities for all young people with disabilities including those with more complex needs.

We believe every young person should have the opportunity to belong, enjoy adventure and experience the great outdoors, and we’re committed to making Fordell Firs as inclusive and accessible as possible.

We're excited to continue working with Pamis and thank them for their support in helping us take positive steps towards making this happen.

The Scottish National Scout Regatta is just around the corner! 🎉

Open to Scouts, Explorers, Leaders and all Scottish Scouting members aged 10+.

Whether you fancy sailing, paddling, high ropes, bushcraft, or simply getting involved and supporting your team, there’s something for everyone! 🙌

With just one week to go until our fundraisers climb aboard the RRS Discovery in Dundee for our Mast Climb event, we’re incredibly grateful to the Broughty Ferry Traders Association, for sponsoring the event with a generous £250 donation.

Carole Leslie, their Membership Secretary recently met with our 49th Dundee Cubs to mark and celebrate this fantastic sponsorship ahead of the big event on 6 September.

Martin Goodfellow, their Deputy Chairman said,

"The Cubs and Scouts have made a tremendous contribution to the local community in Broughty Ferry over many years, benefiting generations of children and young people by providing fun, friendship, new experiences and valuable learning opportunities.

The Broughty Ferry Traders Association is delighted to support local community groups and charities that make such an important contribution to our town and its residents."

If you’re aged 14–25, an Explorer Scout or Networker, and are passionate about making the world a better place, this could be your chance to make a real difference.

We’re looking for two Explorer Scouts or Networkers to represent Scouting in Scotland as members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYPs). You’ll help bring the views of young people in Scouting to the table, get involved in campaigns and projects, and have your say on motions at SYP Sittings. 🙌
