4th Dunfermline Abbey Boys Brigade Company & Girls Association The 4th Dunfermline (Abbey) Company, Boys' Brigade & Girls' Association Providing adventure and activities for boys of all ages from P1 to S6.

The 4th Dunfermline (Abbey) Boy’s Brigade Company, is a Boy’s Brigade Company based in Dunfermline and attached to the Dunfermline Abbey. The company is split into three sections: Anchor Boys (P1 to P3) who meet on a Wednesday evening between 6pm and 7pm; Junior Section (P4 to P6) who meet on a Wednesday evening between 7pm and 8.30pm and finally the Company Section (P7 to S6) which meets on a Fri

day evening between 7.30pm and 10pm. All sections meet in the Abbey Church Hal,l Abbey Park Place, Dunfermline, Fife, KY12 7PT. We are able to offer a wide and diverse programme which has been tailored to suit the age range of each section, some of our current activities are listed below:

Camping
Hiking
Football
Athletics
Kayaking
Quizzes
Band
And many more. In addition to this we are fortunate enough to be able as part of our programme, the Queen’s Badge and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. These activities, as well as many others offered, are as much about developing leadership and self-belief as they are about enjoyment. The adventure is just waiting to happen, so what are you waiting for? The adventure really does begin here!

Friday night was a busy one for our Anchors & Juniors!

We put our teamwork skills to the test with some fun group challenges , explored a bit of science by looking at how cameras work 📷 and even squeezed in some brain‑training activities to get everyone thinking 🧠

Our youngsters had a fantastic time with the parachute on Friday, loads of teamwork, laughter, and enough energy to power the hall for a week 🔋🔌

We finished with Sharks and Lifeguards, and let’s just say… it did not go well for the lifeguards. Not a single survivor. The sharks were absolutely ruthless! 😂🤣

Although we initially hinted at a curry evening this year, due to a change in circumstances, we are excited to confirm that we will be returning to our cherished tradition, the Annual Burns Supper!

We would like to thank everyone who gave us cards to deliver this year. We know that delivering cards may be seen as an old-fashioned Christmas tradition, but we truly appreciate the confidence you place in us to ensure they reach your nearest and dearest. All cards have now been delivered, and the uniforms are now in the cupboard for the holidays.

A big thank you to all members, parents and The Abbey Church of Dunfermline for their continued help and support. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas from all the staff at the 4th Dunfermline.

Last night we were reaching new heights at Gravity Activity Centre in Edinburgh for our Christmas night out. After a full on programme throughout the year we ran (and bounced) wild for the last time in 2025!

Massive shout out to all the parents and kids for supporting the company throughout the year. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all the staff.

Hopefully see everyone and maybe a few new faces in 2026.

The 4th Dunfermline (Abbey) Company Boys’ Brigade with Girls Association is once again delighted to deliver Christmas cards on behalf of members of the Abbey Church of Dunfermline.

We’ll be delivering to:
👉 Dunfermline
👉 Crossgates
👉 Townhill
👉 Kingseat
👉 Limekilns & Charlestown
👉 Cairneyhill
👉 Crossford
👉 Wellwood
👉 Dalgety Bay

💌 Cost: 50p per card

Cards will be collected and sorted in the weeks leading up to Sunday 14th December 2025, with the final sort on that date to ensure delivery before Christmas.
