We are delighted to announce that Africans In Fife has been awarded £750 from Fife Communities Climate Action Network and Fife Climate Hub SOUP Fund.

Our award will be dedicated to lunching our Africans in Fife Climate and Culture Kitchen. This will benefit the community by combining cultural heritage, healthy eating, and climate action in an engaging and practical way.

Participants will learn how to prepare sustainable, low-carbon versions of traditional African dishes using locally sourced organic ingredients, helping to reduce food miles and environmental issues impact.

The project will strengthen connections, reduce social isolation, and create opportunities for cultural exchange and community building. Sustainability discussions will ensure knowledge on reducing household energy use, cutting waste, and growing food locally, empowering African families in Fife to make environmentally conscious, healthy, and cost-effective lifestyle choices.
