On Sunday, Carnegie Rotary joined eleven other Rotary clubs in Fife to take part in the Rotary Pilgrim’s Way sponsored walk.
All funds raised are going to Fife Young Carers who care for family members living with ill health, disability or learning difficulties.
By walking the Fife Pilgrim Way, Rotary members are helping ensure Young Carers are not walking alone.
A big call out to the Rotarians of Burntisland and Kinghorn Rotary Club, who came up with the original idea and worked hard to make it a success. The original target of £1000 has reached over £4500! A phenomenal success.
Rotary Rosie suggested we add the walk’s just giving link in case anyone else would like to donate to this worthy charity.

Tonight Carnegie Rotary had a visit from the amazing Sandra Thomson! Sandra fund raises for the charity ‘Finding Your Feet’, Scotland's only organisation to support amputees and their families. Sandra gave a wonderful presentation of her fundraising trek along the Inca Trail, which included fabulous photographs of the trek to the final destination of the 15th-century Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu.
It was a pleasure to meet Sandra and learn about the work of the charity.
Rotary Rosie suggested we take a picture of Sandra and Rosie’s mum Pam, and suggested we add a link about this wonderful charity so you can learn more of the work they do.
Thank you again Sandra, your talk was inspirational!

Tonight Rotary Rosie took a special interest in our Compliance presentation. She was specifically interested in the slide that covered Equality and Diversity, and was happy to know there is a warm welcome for everyone at Rotary.
Rosie recommends you find out for yourself and come along for a visit, she would love to see you and so would we!

Congratulations Billy from Carnegie Rotary. Well deserved!!

We are thrilled to share that our Trustee and Chairperson, Billy Swan, has been invited to the Fife Voluntary Action Volunteering and Voluntary Sector Awards, where he will receive a Long Service Award in recognition of more than 25 years of volunteering at Seal.

This is a fantastic recognition of the time, energy and commitment Billy has given to Seal, and to all of the children and families we have had the pleasure of supporting over the years.

Congratulations, Billy, and thank you for your dedicated leadership and service.
