Our new location is just behind behind on mellent avenue we're working on making it more secure and safe for people to enjoy at the moment as we have noticed littering and fire lighting which has become a concern for residents.
Work on a giant wall mural will be painted to add a new sense of purpose and life to the garden.
Beds with be added around the edges full of colourful plants and a wildflower meadow.
A nature reserve pond will bring more wildlife to the area.
A area to grow all sorts of food will eventually be included to act as a educational tool and help feed the community.
A children's nature play will also be in the future too included sensory play and a relaxing area to sit and play such as a mud kitchen and seating.
Will be making our own compost for our new beds and creating areas for nature itself such as a bug hotel, deadheadging and a butterfly friendly meadow.
A archery area will also eventually be added too for more sporting activities. Aswell as activities such as nature crafts and nature walks, sound bathing and garden yoga.
We still need lots of help over the summer and beyond to make this project happen it's such a peaceful and relaxing part of our city, we really want to make it a place to learn, connect, relax and come back to nature.
