SSUNI’s Community Relations Officer, Elodie Bloomer was in London last week to help present the Voice of Online Youth’s Online Safety Charter to Ofcom and other tech industry executives last week. Elodie is one of 13 UK students on the Panel that was set up by the NSPCC to advise policymakers, politicians, parents, and industry professionals. She has studied and consulted on the Online Safety Act, worked with Ofcom, politicians, social media industry experts, carried out research, attended and spoken at conferences and conducted workshops to provide and advocate for the best protections available on a legal, technological and practical basis for young people.
