🧤 NEW CLUB PARTNERSHIP ⚽️

We’re delighted to welcome Lochee United JFC on board as our newest official BGK club partners! 🤝

Coming in as their goalkeeper coaching team, we’ll be delivering weekly specialist training to their goalkeepers, developing their technique, decision-making and confidence that the position demands. 🚀

But it doesn’t stop with the keepers. We’ll also be supporting Lochee’s coaches too, with goalkeeper session plans, warm-up plans, and ongoing advice to help them develop and support their goalies every single week 🙌

Lochee United is thrilled to officially announce that our newly formed U20 side has been accepted into the East of Scotland U20 Development League for the upcoming season.

This marks a massive milestone for the club as we officially launch our new Youth-to-Adult Player Pathway. By establishing a direct pipeline from the U18s through to the U20s, we are creating a defined, sustainable route for talented young players to progress directly into Junior or Senior football.

We have been working hard behind the scenes and will be announcing our first wave of exciting new signings very soon. Keep your eyes peeled Also, to make this project a success, we are looking for local businesses and partners to join us on this journey.

It’s fantastic to see how much our boys and girls are developing in the Mini Dribblers section. Week after week, their confidence, skills, and enthusiasm continue to grow, and it’s a credit to the hard work of our coaches, volunteers, and parents. Most importantly, the children are having fun, making friends, and building a love for the game. We are incredibly proud of their progress and the positive environment being created for our youngest players. Next week, they’ll be proudly getting behind Scotland in the World Cup, showing their support and team spirit every step of the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Family Fun Day at Thomson Park last Saturday.

It was fantastic to see so many families and members of the community come together and enjoy a great day.

We would also like to thank all of our volunteers/commitee for their hard work and dedication, as well as our event partners, Ace Community Events, for their incredible support in making the day such a success.

Lochee United Community Trust are delighted to have a community accessible defibrillator fitted to the wall outside Thomson Park today. This vital piece of lifesaving equipment will now be available 24/7 for use in emergencies, helping to make our local area safer for everyone.

The club would like to thank everyone involved in making this possible, from the British Heart Foundation and Care Electrical Contractors Limited for their support in getting an Electrical supply to the unit, to the volunteers and supporters who helped organise and install it. Having quick access to a defibrillator can make a huge difference in critical situations, and we are proud to play our part in supporting the health and wellbeing of our community.

We also hope this encourages greater awareness around CPR and defibrillator training. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, safer community around Thomson Park for players, families, supporters, and local residents alike.

Family Fun Day next Saturday 💙🤍

Through our partnership with Ace Community Events, we’re delighted to announce a fantastic Family Fun Day at Thomson Park on Saturday 30th May. After the success of the event at Lochee Park last month, we’re excited to bring the community together again for an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and activities for all ages.

With fairground rides, sweet treats, lots of inflatables and even a bull ride, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. This event is our way of giving back and celebrating our amazing community. Bring your family, invite your friends, and join us for a memorable day!
