Togs Togs is a children’s clothing bank for Tayside We want to hellp MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The people at TOGS really do MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Togs is a Registered Charity and is a clothing and equipment bank for children and families that are less fortunate. Our aim is to improve the lives and the situations of families living in poverty within Dundee and the surrounding areas through referrals from health care professionals and support workers supporting struggling families. We are also a very important support mechanism and contributor to the local community through volunteer engagement, offering a route to social interaction, community engagement and simply an opportunity to meet people.

We are overwhelmed with the generosity of the local community, thank you so much to those who have already handed in donations and to everyone who has been in touch with plans to drop items off this week!

We have also had very kind cash donations handed in and bank transfers to Togs, this has allowed us to purchase new items for the emergency referral for the teen boys 💙

⭐️ Togs ‘Prevention Package’ project ⭐️

A huge thanks to the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation who have given Togs funding to be able to provide a ‘prevention package’ including a toothbrush, toothpaste and sun cream to our referrals.

There is still an ongoing dental crisis with children not visiting the dentist and lack of knowledge on basic dental health. Sadly sun cream is seen as a luxury and this puts children at huge risk of serious health issues caused by sun damage and sunburn.

Togs estimate that we will be able to help around 1700 children in the next 12 months living in Tayside. Along with our current funding continuing to provide a cosy blanket to every child, Togs are proud to help combat public health issues in Tayside ❤️

Togs are in desperate need of boys age 14-15 years, small, medium men’s clothes and coats suitable for teenagers, any shoes too would be great.

We have an emergency referral for 3x teenage boys and have very little stock 😢
