Great to see 2 of our Boys competing with over 50 young people from across Dundee & Angus Battalion The Boys' Brigade for the Ten Pin Bowling trophies. No winners for 44th Boys' Brigade Dundee but thanks to the Boys for taking part. It was great to see the better bowlers coaching their opponents from all companies. Excellent sportsmanship!

A few words from Dougie Rennie, our piping instructor about the Broughty Ferry Christmas Lights switch on tonight.

“A big thank you to all for turning out, one of the coldest nights for playing pipes, so well done, especially having to hang about in the cold for so long. A special shout out to Lucas, Ethan, Reuben and Jude who did fantastic for their first time playing with the band. Also a shout out to Alex for coming all the way from Edinburgh to play tonight. A fantastic effort. Thanks again folks a fantastic advertisement for the BB.”

Our thanks to everyone, especially those ex-members who turned out to help the young Boys with their first outing. It is very much appreciated.

Great effort from all the Boys on Thursday night for completing our sponsored walk/run in support of Rotary International End Polio campaign. The Boys ran/walked 1.24miles, one thousandth of the distance of the Afghanistan/Pakistan border, the two countries where Polio still needs to be eradicated. We hope to handover more than £200 to our friends at Broughty Ferry Rotary at our family evening this Thursday!

What better way to reward all that good work with an ice cream in the sunshine!

If you are interested in joining us for our 75th session in August as a Boy or Leader, then please get in touch.
