Dundee Model Railway Club We meet on both Monday & Friday evenings, between 19:00 & 22:00 Membership is open to all persons from school age to 'beyond' retirment.

Dundee Model Railway Club has the aim, since its founding, "to foster and promote general interest in the hobby, and its relationship to rail transport." We do however, prefer that a responsible adult accompanies those under 16. No special skills are required, just an interest in model railways, be a part of the club and become involved in its activities. We attend many exhibi

tions each year around Scotland, including our own bi-annual exhibition in Dundee. Our clubroom is a modern converted shop unit, with a large layout room, workshop area, toilet facilities and canteen room.

We are sorry to hear of Alan's passing. Everyone at Dmrc sends their condolences during this hard time.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Alan Jordan - a member of our club for the best part of twenty years - has recently passed away peacefully.

Alan's great involvement in many many projects together with his unique sense of humour and encyclopedic knowledge of all things transport and model railways will be greatly missed by all. Equally missed with fondness will be all those anecdotes from his career in the Merchant Navy and latterly as a technician in the NHS.

As Alan travels up to the Heaven branch of Glenrothes Model Railway Club we are certain of what the introductory question shall be: "Well, did you really finish any of those projects you worked on down there.......?"

Alan's funeral will take place in Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday 21st August at 12:45pm.

Thank you Cupar & District Model Railway Club for a great weekend.

Thanks to everyone who visited Cupar Model Rail 2026.

We will be back in 2027.
Please be aware our 2027 show will be a week later than usual due to The Open at St Andrews.

In 2028 will return to our normal weekend.

We already have an exciting line up of layouts booked to attend 2027 including “Auswiss” in HO/HOm, “Dunnerholme Sidings” in OO and “Westbourne” in TT.
We will also be debuting our new OO layout.
