Youth Changemakers Event

Today, Grace Tait and Alex Kelly from Kanzen for Life attended the Youth Changemakers Event at the Caird Hall, Dundee, organised by Dundee City Council and What Matters to You.

The event brought together young people from across Dundee to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore how they can work together to create positive change for young people in their communities.

We are pleased to be supporting Dundee Westfest 2026 as an event sponsor.

Community events matter. They create opportunities for people to come together, strengthen local connections, and celebrate the people and organisations that make Dundee a better place to live.

If you are attending WestFest, please take a few minutes to visit the Kanzen for Life stall at Magdalen Green. We will be there throughout the day to share more about our work and the communities we support.

WestFest runs from 12:00pm until 7:00pm.

As Volunteers' Week comes to an end, we want to recognise the incredible people who help make a difference across our communities.

This weekend alone, volunteers dedicated an amazing 702 hours to support to an event supported by Kanzen. Every hour reflects the commitment, passion, and generosity of people who choose to give their time to help others.

At Kanzen for Life, volunteering is about more than giving back. It brings people together, builds confidence, develops skills, and creates opportunities for growth.

Many of our volunteers begin by wanting to give something back. Along the way, they find friendships, develop leadership skills, grow in confidence, and become role models within their communities. Volunteering creates opportunities not only for those being supported, but also for those who step forward to help.

🎉 Kanzen for Life Community Open Day

Join us as we open the doors to the new Kanzen for Life Centre on Saturday 20th June from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

This is an opportunity for local families, residents, members and partners to come along, see the new Centre, meet the team and connect with others in the community.

Throughout the day there will be tea and coffee, mini games, face painting and opportunities to learn more about the work of Kanzen for Life.

You are invited to pop along, see the hub, and meet the team!

We will also be delivering a number of FREE activities during the day:

Balanced Lives
Accessible functional fitness focused on movement, confidence and wellbeing.

Family Fitness
Fun and inclusive movement activities for all ages.

Our S3 Morgan Kanzen for Life Stags share their key takeaways from the programme as they complete their final school session with us.

Over the past two years, they have embraced new opportunities, built confidence, developed positive relationships and grown as young leaders within their school community.

Morgan Kanzen for Life Stags – S3 Graduation

We are proud to celebrate the graduation of our S3 pupils from the Morgan Kanzen for Life Stags programme.

Over the past two years, these young people have built confidence, resilience and strong friendships. Through regular sessions, events, volunteering and personal development opportunities, they have grown as individuals and developed skills that will support them into the future.

Kanzen for Life were delighted to attend 'Learning Exchange to System Change: Strengthening Adult Learning in Dundee' event at Dundee and Angus College last week.

The event focused on creating clearer pathways, how real change comes from stronger partnership working and how we reduce barriers to engagement.
